Motorola launches satellite-enabled Defy 2 model and Defy Link satellite messenger. Motorola is now preparing a new offering to support voice and text messaging via satellite.
The company this week is going to introduce a module called Tiantong. Thanks to this module, with one click, users will be able to make a satellite call. From the name it is clear that the Chinese satellite communication system Tiantong-1 will be used. The same system will be used by devices of the Huawei Mate 60 series.
For now, this accessory will only be offered in China
It is not known for which smartphone this module is made and whether it will work with several Motorola models at once. Prices are also not yet known.
